I am a Masters student who is trying to see whether putting my fragmentary, meaningless and self-absorbed thoughts down on paper (well sort of) will mean they somehow make sense or will just re-inforce the fact that my thoughts are fragmentary, meaningless and self-absorbed. My academic interests include Marxist aesthetics and literary theory, postcolonial literature, beat poetry and literary subcultures, film studies. My non-academic interests are far too many and transitory to deserve mentioning. Also hopefully the pages to follow will demonstrate their varied and pointless nature - as well as proving to be a lasting monument to mediocrity.
